The Americana is centrally located near to Baker Street, which is a hub for public transport making it easy to get to all parts of London.

As well as the Underground (Tube) services from Baker Street Underground Station the area is well served by an extensive bus network that operates through the night as well as during the day.

The north/south services go into the centre from Baker Street, there are several stop outside the station with the service numbers listed on the sign, and return to the area using Gloucester Place. This is because Baker Street is one-way south and Gloucester Place one-way north so the return serice will often stop at Dorset Square.

The onboard indicator will say it is stopping at Baker Street/Gloucester Place

So even if you are not here to visit somewhere in the immediate area the extensive public transport services make this an idea location for both business and leisure travellers.

You will need to buy a ticket before you board the bus. Single fares are expensive and we would advise you to buy a daily card or Oyster Card. You can get a Bus Pass to use on the busses but if you are going to want to use the underground as well buy a Travel Card, because you can use this on both.
