Opera Holland Park
Opera Holland Park is staged under a temporary canopy in Holland Park and since the 2007 season, the theatre has been expanded by the addition of a spectacular new canopy underneath which there are improved facilities and 1,000 seats. In recent years the company has enjoyed a long string of hits with major achievements in productions of more obscure repertoire such as Mascagni's Iris, Cilea's L'arlesiana, and many others. It is now considered one of the most accomplished non-state opera companies in the UK.
The resident orchestra is the City of London Sinfonia. The operas are sung in the original language and subtitling is used.

To get there from the Americana; take the Jubilee Line southbound from Baker Street to Bond Street and change to the Central Line. Take the Central Line westwound to Holland Park. The Opera is taking pace in Holland Park and the entrance is signposted from the station.
