The University of Westminster was set up in 1838 and has close links with the business and academic life of London. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and short courses to around 23,000 students worldwide and is one of the top 15 most popular U.K. universities for international students.

The University of Westminster has over 165 years of teaching experience. It has more than 800 teaching faculty on its roll and an equal number of visiting lecturers. It has attained very high rankings for courses like Arabic, building, housing and surveying, Chinese, communication, and media (including music), French, integrated health, politics and international relations, psychology, subjects allied to medicine, and tourism. The library is very well stocked with books, magazines, and e-journals. It also stocks various audio and videocassettes.
